City North

City North will be realised by TGM Projects on behalf of Telford Homes Plc. to the design of Benson + Forsyth Architects. Executive architect is Rolfe Judd architects. City North is a mixed use development comprising 355 apartments and 109,000 square feet of retail, leisure and office space in a joint venture with the Business Design Centre in Islington. The scheme includes two 23 storey towers linked by a 12 storey terrace building.

TGM Projects is as a subcontractor responsible for the engineering and realisation of all aluminium, steel and glass façades. Additionally TGM Projects realises part of the glass reinforced concrete elements, as well as U-glass and terracotta façades. The scope of works consists of: 12,181m² unitised curtain walling including openable windows and sliding doors, 5,127m² stick curtain walling including openable windows, 1,364m² glass reinforced concrete, 682m² U-glass and 62 aluminium windows included openable windows and sliding doors, 215m² structural bonded glass façade and 886 m¹ glass balustrades.

The project will commence on site in March 2018 and the expected completion date will be in December 2019.
