The Whitechapel phase 2 project is part of a new development in London called “Silk District.” The project is within walking distance of central London, close to Whitechapel station and the Royal London Hospital.
The “Silk District” consists of 3 residential blocks positioned around a piazza with private communal gardens. The commercial space on the first floor will house restaurants, cafes and stores. Whitechapel phase 2 consists of a 26-story tower.
TGM Facades UK Ltd. developed for this project the aluminum element façade, sliding doors on the balconies, rainscreen cladding, balustrades and the aluminum curtain wall on the first floor. The building is completed with the ‘Halo’ steel structure at roof level.
