We are proud to announce our involvement in the realization of the sustainable Grotius Building, the new location of Radboud University Nijmegen. This building is mainly used by the Faculty of Law and has various teaching and study spaces, a library, a restaurant with outdoor terrace and a lecture hall with space for 500 students.

The facades of the building are made of the HV60 system developed by TGM, which is C2C certified. The wooden supports of the curtain walls are made of full-wood pine.

The transparent parts of the façade are fitted with triple glass and the closed parts with laminated, full-face enamel glass with a silver screen print. Specially designed concealed ventilation slots are integrated into the blind sections. This allows natural ventilation without changing the clean facade appearance.

TGM’s scope of delivery: 3,425 m2 of HV60 curtain walls, of which:

  • 165 m2 HV60 curtain wall 30-minute fire-resistant.
  • 26 steel doors.
  • 2 turnstiles.
  • 126 pieces of integrated ventilation slots.
