Elephant & Castle MP1

The project Elephant & Castle MP1 is part of the overall master plan Elephant & Castle South Garden, which has a total of six construction phases. Masterplan phase 1 consists of 11 blocks divided into social housing and private apartments. By the use of various materials, colours and plenty of green space, a good and pleasant living condition will be created.

TGM Façades UK Ltd. has as subcontractor the final responsibility for the engineering and construction of the window frames. The project consist of aluminium or timber–aluminium windows, aluminium/steel curtain walling and timber cladding. During the development of this project the quality and health & safety aspects were treated with special attention to achieve the high standards.

The scope of works consist of: 7047 m² window frames, 569 m² passive house window frames, 441 m² aluminium/steel curtain walling and 315 m² timber cladding and soffits. The project has started in September 2015 and the completion date for masterplan phase one was at the beginning of 2017.
