The project consists of two towers linked by a transparent four-storey plinth (level 0 to level 3). The towers will be part of a complex of six towers situated on a narrow strip of land along the north bank of Amsterdam’s waterfront. To create a lively meeting place for locals and visitors, the lower levels will be open to the public. Each of the two towers is unique. The hotel tower will rise to 100 metres and is refined in design, with vast expanses of glass and robust stonework. It will be the biggest conference hotel in the Netherlands, with 579 hotel rooms and a conference centre that can accommodate more than 400 people.

The residential tower, on the other hand, is strikingly expressive. It will feature staggered horizontal bands of light-coloured stonework. Each of the 230 flats will have large windows that afford an impressive view of Amsterdam, its waterfront and the Waterland area. We are looking forward to working with Zublin Nederland BV on this challenging project.

TGM’s scope of delivery is 26,000 square metres total, consisting of aluminium, curtain wall and window frame components and timber-frame construction elements as well as stone cladding, aluminium panelling, balustrade, roofing, grilles and glass. Expected completion will be in mid-2020.
